Hey Soulmate! You Complete Me

Some believe that a soulmate is your other half that will make you whole. Interesting point of view! My point of view is that a soulmate isn’t someone who completes you. It is someone who inspires you to complete yourself. Someone who supports your direction, motivates you, and encourages you to stretch your abilities, to expand your possibilities, and to reinvent yourself until you are happy.

A soulmate is someone who believes in the person you are becoming and who does not judge your flaws. It is someone who sees the zig-zagged parts of what life and love has brought to you but still chooses to stand beside you. They guide you to confront your scars from the inside and always encourage you to keep going.

A soulmate is someone who challenges you to challenge yourself. Someone who pushes you to see beyond your limits and embrace the possibilities. Someone who sees you in ways you never see yourself and encourages you to see your potentials and your abilities.

You see, a soulmate is someone who is not afraid of your growth. They don’t need to get insecure when they see you soar and see something new within yourself spark and grow. A soulmate is someone who will not stop you from changing for the better, because a soulmate knows that you are building yourself into someone you are proud of and is beautiful to them – and that is always what they have hoped for you.

So, no. A soulmate does not complete you – they inspire you into becoming the person you are meant to be and always wanted to be.
